Become a Volunteer

Not only were volunteers behind starting Franklin Hospice in the first place (see A Brief History of Us), they remain an integral part of our team and we could not do what we do without them. Their roles are many and varied, including:

• Helping at fundraising events (see our current events here)
• Assisting at our family support groups (here’s an example)
• Producing patient biographies
• Sitting with patients to provide companionship
• Working in our shop, (front of house and back of house)
• Gardening
• And many other roles
