Our Franklin Hospice events are an important part of our fundraising as well as being a public invitation to Live Every Moment. Along with helping to raise the vital funds we need, they are also designed to be fun. You can help by coming along and you can especially help by sharing these events over your social media networks.
Our Garden Ramble
Created and managed initially by two local women as a fundraiser for Franklin Hospice (more than $280,000 raised since 2012), people flock to the picture-perfect gardens on show. After retiring and handing the event over, our Franklin Hospice team now runs this event every two years when an array of local gardens are opened to the public for a weekend.
Our Garden Festival
The Garden Ramble takes two years of effort to prepare so on the in-between years, we run our Garden Festival and Christmas Market at one location. Usually its held at an outstanding rural garden setting such as Winsford Gardens in Ramarama.
Riverhaven Artland Scultpure Park
Guy and Katie Blundell, the owners of RiverHaven Artland, initiated an annual open weekend at their wonderful sculpture park in January 2020 as a fundraiser for Franklin Hospice. This annual event now continues every Auckland Anniversary weekend because of their generosity.
